Summary:
Acute hypoxemia in patients with the history of recent myocardial infarction, third degree heart block and dual chamber pacemaker often is caused by the worsening heart failure or pulmonary embolism. This case demonstrates primary large right atrial lymphoma being an unusual cause of the usual symptoms of hypoxemia, and important role of transesophageal echocardiography in differential diagnosis.
Transesophageal echocardiography. Colour Doppler demonstrated mild tricuspid regurgitation around the right atrial mass (LA - left atrium, TR - tricuspid regurgitation, RA mass - right atrial mass).
